Hoeven Announces $220,250 Grant for Community Development in North Dakota
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today announced that CommunityWorks North Dakota has received a $220,250 grant that was authorized by NeighborWorks America. The funds will be used to revitalize communities, support affordable housing for residents of their service areas and create jobs through NeighborWorks-supported projects.
“It is important to ensure that North Dakota continues to have strong communities, and this grant will support continued development in our state by securing affordable housing, creating good jobs and helping families understand their financing options when purchasing a home.”
Congress created NeighborWorks America in 1978 as the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation to support community development and affordable housing throughout the country. To see the impact summaries and allocation breakdowns, click here.
