Senator Hoeven to Mark Formal Beginning of Point Defense Battle Lab at Grand Forks Air Force Base

EMERADO, N.D. – On Thursday, April 9, Senator John Hoeven will mark the formal beginning of the Point Defense Battle Lab at a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. As a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, Hoeven worked with Air Force leadership to advance Grand Forks’ selection for the battle lab, which will develop and test advanced technologies to defend installations from small, unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) threats.
