GRAND FORKS, N.D. – On Friday, February 20, Senator John Hoeven will hold a press conference with Representative Julie Fedorchak and Energy and Environmental Research Center (EERC) CEO Charles Gorecki outlining efforts to advance Crack the Code 2.0. Hoeven is spearheading the $157 million initiative to partner the state’s coal and oil industries, with the goal of doubling both oil recovery in the Bakken and the life of North Dakota’s coal-fired power plants.
