BISMARCK, N.D. – On Thursday, November 13, Senator John Hoeven will participate in a panel discussion at the Lignite Energy Council’s (LEC) annual meeting in Bismarck. Hoeven, joined by leaders from the LEC, North Dakota Petroleum Council, the Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC) and Rainbow Energy, will discuss his Crack the Code 2.0 initiative, which seeks to partner the state’s oil and gas industry, using enhanced oil recovery to double both oil recovery in the Bakken and the life of North Dakota’s coal-fired power plants.
