Thursday morning, Hoeven will celebrate the Northrop Grumman Grand Sky Groundbreaking in Grand Forks. Northrop Grumman is a leader in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry, having produced innovative systems for nearly 70 years. In April, the company signed a lease agreement making them the anchor tenant in Grand Sky, Grand Forks County’s new business and technology park. Hoeven has worked extensively to develop the region as a leader in the UAS industry, and Thursday’s groundbreaking ceremony will be a milestone in advancing unmanned aerial systems in North Dakota.
