MINOT, N.D. – On Thursday, May 28, Senator John Hoeven will meet with Minot officials to review city redevelopment efforts, including advancing a recreation area at the site of the former landfill and building a bypass south of the city connecting Highways 2/52 and US 83. Hoeven has been working with the Environmental Protection Agency to secure final approval of the recreation project, and previously secured $4 million to support construction of the bypass. The event will begin with a roundtable, immediately followed by a tour of the project sites. The group will take a bus from the Maysa Arena to reach the tour sites.
