Senator Hoeven will join North Dakota’s congressional delegation in honoring Lynn Aas, a World War II veteran from Minot, as he will be presented with France’s highest decoration, the Legion of Honor medal. The medal recognizes Aas’ extraordinary bravery in helping to liberate France, and its recipients are named by decree signed by the President of the Republic.
