Senator Hoeven will bring FAA officials to Grand Sky for a roundtable with representatives from Grand Sky, Northrop Grumman, the Harris Corporation and General Atomics, among others. The roundtable will focus on the UAS research and development work at Grand Sky and its growing importance as a UAS development hub. Hoeven will also join Grand Sky and Harris in announcing a new initiative to support unmanned aircraft operations that go beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) and without a chase plane.
