Breaking Ground On New Firing Range at Minot Air Force Base

August 26 2019 11:00 aaa

Senator John Hoeven will help break ground on a new indoor firing range at the Minot Air Force Base. As a member of the Senate Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Committee, Hoeven secured $27 million for the range in Fiscal Year 2018. The new range will allow the consolidation of four existing buildings while also reducing air quality concerns, providing higher quality training with lower maintenance costs and ensuring the range is available regardless of weather conditions.
