AMVETS State Convention

At the AMVETS Department of North Dakota state convention, Hoeven, a member of the Senate Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Committee, will outline his efforts to improve veterans’ access to health care both through the VA and local providers. This includes ensuring the proper implementation of the VA MISSION Act, which includes key provisions from Hoeven’s Veterans Access to Long Term Care and Health Services Act, maintaining the Fargo VA’s Care Coordination Initiative and improving access to alternative therapies for veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.
