Agriculture Assistance Roundtable

Senator John Hoeven will hold a roundtable discussion with North Dakota agriculture producers and lenders to outline the $16 billion in agriculture assistance he helped secure to aid producers impacted by trade negotiations. Hoeven worked to secure another round of Market Facilitation Program (MFP) payments and to ensure coverage for canola and other commodities impacted by retaliatory tariffs. In addition to the MFP, the plan includes funding to help develop new trade markets, and for food purchases for organizations including food pantries and school nutrition programs.
