Hoeven Honors Members of Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 112th Aviation Regiment at Send-Off Ceremony

FARGO, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today recognized members of the North Dakota National Guard’s (NDNG) Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 112th Aviation Regiment who are mobilizing to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Approximately 30 Guard members and three aircraft will deploy to provide continuous Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) coverage for the installation, delivering emergency point‑of‑injury care and rapid evacuation to the nearest Role 4 medical facility.

“The men and women of the North Dakota National Guard continue to answer the call to serve with professionalism, courage and dedication,” said Hoeven. “Delta Company is taking on a critical mission that will help ensure our servicemembers receive lifesaving medical care when they need it most. We are grateful for these ND Guard members’ willingness to serve and for the sacrifices made by them and their families. We look forward to welcoming them home safely.”

Delta company is currently based at the Fargo Readiness Center and will assume continuous garrison and training-area MEDEVAC coverage previously managed by Charlie Company (MED), 3-82 General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB).  This deployment marks Delta Company’s first major mission since 2018, when it supported operations at Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels and Grafenwöhr, Germany.
