Hoeven Announces Nearly $4.6 Million in HHS Funds for Three North Dakota Community Health Centers

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded three grants totaling nearly $4.6 million to support community health centers in North Dakota. The details of the awards are as follows:

• Northland Health Partners Community Health Center – Turtle Lake, ND – $1,681,827
• Valley Community Health Centers – Northwood, ND – $1,531,763
• Family Healthcare Center – Fargo, ND – $1,377,969

“Our community health centers help ensure our rural, underserved and low-income residents have access to more health services, such as preventative care and health education,” Hoeven said. “Today’s grants will help three health centers, including two rural health centers, improve the quality of their care, which will support North Dakotans’ long-term well-being and help stave off preventable medical issues.”
