WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Agriculture Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) has awarded a $934,000 grant and a $1,554,000 loan to the City of Linton. The funds will be used to renovate the sanitary sewer system and secondary lift station as well as to improve the main lift station.
“In order for our communities to grow, we need to ensure we have the infrastructure to meet their needs,” Hoeven said. “These Rural Development funds will enable Linton to make long-term infrastructure investments necessary to serve its citizens now and in the future.”
