Hoeven Announces Funding for Minot State University, Pathfinder Services

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Education has awarded the following funding: 

  • Minot State University – $302,008 through the Transition and Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID) program to create and expand inclusive, high-quality transition and postsecondary programs and opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities.
  • Pathfinder Services of North Dakota Inc. – $300,000 from the Demonstration and Training Program under the Parent Training and Information Centers to improve and expand rehabilitation services. 

“This funding will provide Minot State University and Pathfinder Services with resources to better serve individuals with disabilities by improving rehabilitation services and ensuring courses are inclusive and students with disabilities have the tools to help them succeed,” said Hoeven.
