Hoeven Announces $350,000 in Economic Development Grants for North Dakota

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Economic Development Administration has awarded five grants totaling $350,000 to regional councils in North Dakota. The funds will support strategies to spur investment and job creation. The details of the awards are as follow:

  • Lake Agassiz Regional Council, Fargo - $70,000
  • Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council, Mandan - $70,000
  • North Central Planning Council, Devils Lake - $70,000
  • Roosevelt-Custer Regional Council for Development, Dickinson - $70,000
  • Souris Basin Planning Council, Minot - $70,000

“Our regional councils work to meet the needs of communities across the state, ensuring robust economic growth and good job opportunities for our citizens,” Hoeven said. “Today’s awards support this important mission.”
