SUMMARY:Red River Valley Flood Protection PPA Signing
DESCRIPTION:Senator Hoeven will join federal\, state and local leaders at the signing ceremony for the new PPA for comprehensive flood protection in the Red River Valley. Hoeven worked consistently in recent months to advance the agreement with administration officials and secure additional federal funding to support the implementation of Plan B. James\, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works\, approved the renegotiation of the PPA and directed the Army Corps to increase the federal government’s commitment to the project by $300 million\, up to $750 million.
