DESCRIPTION:EMERADO\, N.D. – On Thursday\, August 27\, Senator John Hoeven will mark the Technology-Readiness Experimentation (T-REX) event as part of the initiative’s Distinguished Visitors Day at GrandSKY. Hoeven will outline North Dakota’s unique unmanned aerial systems (UAS) ecosystem and its growing leadership in counter-drone technology development\, resulting in the state’s selection by the U.S. Department of War (DoW) for the two-week T-REX event\, which provides private companies the opportunity to test and demonstrate the benefits of their drone and counter-drone technologies for the DoW.
