BISMARCK, N.D. – On Saturday, December 13, Senator John Hoeven will address the North Dakota Farmers Union annual convention. The senator will discuss efforts to open new markets and secure better trade deals for producers, as well as advance the $12 billion in agriculture assistance he announced with President Trump earlier this week. The assistance will serve as a bridge until the farm safety net enhancements that Hoeven secured in the One Big Beautiful Bill come into full effect, while giving the administration additional leverage in its trade negotiations with China.
