Hoeven Announces $945,000 DOT Grant to NDDOT

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $945,000 to the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT). The funds will be used to purchase a handicap accessible bus for the City of Minot and to implement a Transit Asset Management (TAM) System statewide.

“Access to transportation is vital to North Dakotans especially as more people come to our state to work and live,” Hoeven said. “These funds will help us better maintain transit systems in North Dakota and give more mobility to Minot residents.”

The grant funds a project which was competitively selected through the DOT’s State of Good Repair Program. The funds were disbursed by the Federal Transit Administration at the DOT.
